Fitlock is built to help you exchange movement for intentional screen time. This policy explains what information the app handles and what stays on your device.

Information stored on your device

Your selected blocked apps, earned-minute balance, settings, onboarding state, and workout history are stored locally. Camera frames used for rep counting are processed in memory on your device and are not recorded, stored, or uploaded by Fitlock.

Analytics

Production builds use PostHog to understand product usage and reliability. We may collect a random installation identifier, app version, platform, screen views, and product events such as workouts started or completed, paywall views, and app unlocks. This data is not tied to an account, advertising identifier, name, or email address.

Purchases

Apple App Store and Google Play process payments. RevenueCat processes subscription and entitlement status so Fitlock can provide paid features. We do not receive full payment-card details.

Permissions

Fitlock may request camera access for on-device rep counting and platform screen-time or usage-access permissions to block apps you select. Android also uses overlay and foreground-service permissions to display and maintain the blocking shield. These permissions support Fitlock's core function and are not used to collect the content you view in other apps.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Limited product analytics may be processed by PostHog, and purchase data by RevenueCat, Apple, or Google, solely to operate and improve Fitlock.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Analytics and purchase processors retain data under their own retention policies. To request deletion of analytics data associated with your installation, contact us from the device and include your installation identifier if available.

Children

Fitlock is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as Fitlock changes. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
